Available positions at UMass Global are posted here. Open positions remain posted until they are filled or cancelled.

How often do you update the job openings on your website? As each new position is opened and approved, it is posted to the Careers site.

The application process

How do I submit my resume?
Click here to search current UMass Global openings. Once you find one or more positions that you would like to apply for, add them to your “Saved Jobs”. When you are ready, click “Apply Now”" to complete an application. If none of the current positions are a good match for you, you set up a Job Alert to be notified of future openings.

If I have trouble submitting my resume online, is there another way to submit it?
UMass Global accepts resumes only through our online Careers site. Resumes that are mailed, emailed, faxed or forwarded in any other way are not accepted.

If I have a disability, can I get help filling out my application?
If you require any reasonable accommodations in the application or interview process, because of disability, please notify the Office of Human Resources of your needs via email, burecruiting@umassglobal.edu or by phone, 949-341-9800. Please reference the job title and requisition number.

What if I don't have an email address?
An email address is required. You must set up an email account to be able to log in and submit your resume.

What if I change my email address?
If you have a new email address, log in using your old email address and update your profile with your new email address.

What if I forget my password?
Type in your email address and click "Forgot Password." We will email your password to you.

How can I edit my candidate profile?
Log in with your email address and password and edit your profile.

Does UMass Global work with third-party recruiting firms?
Yes, we do work with third-party recruiting agencies on occasion. We respect the importance of recruiters' need for exclusivity when it comes to recruiting for positions, and we understand the amount of time and effort that goes into finding the right match. Therefore, we work with a very small group of third-party recruiters who have signed agreements with UMass Global. They work closely with our internal recruiting staff and have direct contact with our hiring managers. These recruiters are very knowledgeable of our industry and are considered strategic partners by UMass Global.

If you are interested in becoming a search partner for UMass Global, please submit your contact information, electronic brochure and area of specialty to burecruiting@umassglobal.edu Please include "Recruiting Agency" in the subject line. Be assured that we will review your information when/if the need for additional partners or your services arise.

UMass Global does not accept unsolicited resumes from third-party recruiters or agencies. Any third-party resumes forwarded by recruiters to UMass Global or to any of our employees will be considered public information, may be treated as a direct application from the person identified in the resume, and will not be eligible for placement fee payment to the agency.

Once you've submitted your resume

Who receives my resume?
When you apply online, your resume is sent directly to our recruitment database, which is accessed by our recruiters. After applying, you will receive a confirmation notice that your resume has been received. Your qualifications will be carefully reviewed. If additional information is needed or you are selected for an interview, a member of our recruiting team or an employee from the specific job site will contact you via email or telephone.

How will I know if my resume has been received?
UMass Global does not have a call-back phone line for checking the status of your submission. However, you will receive an emailed response acknowledging the receipt of your resume/qualifications as soon as you submit.

How can I check the status of my resume?
After logging into the Careers site, you can view the status of the job opening for all the positions that you have applied.

How long will my resume stay in the UMass Global database?
Your candidate profile will remain active in our system for a minimum of 3 years following the date of your most recent activity.

When I submit my resume online, who has access to it?
All resumes received by UMass Global are considered confidential and are evaluated only by Human Resources and the hiring team seeking candidates for that position.

How do I determine whether a position is still open?
All positions listed on our Careers site are open.

Is there someone I can talk to regarding the position?
All information relevant to the position is in the job description. If you have general questions about UMass Global, please browse our website.

When do you expect to fill the position?
The time frame varies by position.

How does the interview process work?
Your initial screen may be conducted by a member of our recruiting team or a member of the hiring team in the department or office to which you've applied. You may be requested to come into the location for a panel interview to meet with other supervisors or managers during additional visits before a hiring decision is made.

Will you contact my former employers for a reference?
After we begin the interview process, we may contact your former employers, but only with your consent.

Applying for more than one job

Can I apply for more than one job?
Yes. Please be sure that your qualifications and experience match the position requirements listed in the job posting.

How do I apply for more than one job?
If you are qualified for and interested in more than one job opening, and you have already submitted your resume through the Careers site, simply log in as a registered user with your existing email address and password. Add the desired positions you wish to apply for to your “Saved Jobs” bank. You can access your saved jobs by to your profile. Here you will be able to complete the process but clicking on the “Apply Now” tab. Your information will automatically populate, making it ideal for multiple submission.

Will I be considered for positions other than the one I applied for?
Yes. If you choose the option to be considered for other positions then your resume goes directly into our database and our recruiters nationwide will have access to it.

Job alerts

What are "job alerts"?
Our job alert service allows you to submit your email address to receive notifications of all newly posted positions in a particular category. These emails are automated and do not automatically submit your resume/qualifications for the position. Once you have received a job alert, you still must indicate your interest in the position.

How do I discontinue receiving job alerts?
The next time you receive a job alert, click on the provided link to discontinue the service.
